Obituary

Ross Hugh Spicer, Jr. passed away January 12, 2024, in Lewisville, TX at the age of 72. He was born the eldest of 4 children to Ross Hugh Spicer, Sr. and Nancy Ann Crump on May 12, 1951. Ross started his career as a photographer in Oklahoma City while in High School. He worked in public relations, radio sales, and advertising before starting Hypergraphic Impressions in Dallas. He was CEO of Hypergraphic Impressions until he retired.

Ross was a brillant man with many gifts; he learned to play the piano by ear as a teenager, was a talented photographer, and was a truly gifted speaker. He was eloquent and had a great sense of humor. Ross was a kind and generous friend to many people over the course of his life. Ross loved his family dearly, but even more so his beloved daughter Abigail, whom he cherished. In his later years, Ross was blessed with the extraordinary friendships of Bob and Patsy Lange who were such a blessing to Ross in his final years.

Ross is reunited in Heaven with his father, Ross Hugh Spicer, Sr., his mother Nancy C. Spicer, his brother John C. Spicer and his grandparents. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Abigail Spicer, his sister Suzanne de Larios, sister Cheryl Hutchinson, nieces Emily de Larios, Alicia de Larios, Kelly Bennett, Kimberly Spicer, Grace Hutchinson, nephew Paul Hutchinson, dear cousin Beverly Campisi, as well as numerous other family and friends will all miss Ross greatly.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday February 17th at 2 pm at Browns Memorial Funeral Home in Irving, TX. Ross's ashes will be interred at a later date in a private ceremony at Merrell Cemetery in Dallas, TX where his parents, brother, and grandparents are buried.
